It was one of the first cool days of the fall when I met up with Chad & Stacey for their engagement session but they didn't seem to mind the slight chill. I don't know, maybe because it gave them a reason to get close... perhaps? :) The expressions in Stacey's blue eyes were so much fun to capture as Chad whispered in her ear, even if he was just telling her about the creepy guy spying on them through the window. It was a fun afternoon and I'm looking forward to doing it again in July!
I’m pretty sure there isn’t a word in the dictionary that accurately describes Jeff & Amy when they’re together. And when they’re apart… well Jeff bakes to cope with the incredible pain caused by the void. I feel bad for him because I know how hard it is to be apart from your best friend; the person who you don’t even need to say anything to and they understand everything you’re thinking. But they will be soon reunited when Amy moves to Phoenix next year to be closer to Jeff and they live happily ever after.
Aw, Benny is all grown up and graduating. It seems like just last week I was holding my baby brother on my lap, playing Mom. Now he's got his license, he's got a girl to impress and that little boy with the big head who sat on my lap 16 years ago is a fading memory. Although somedays we miss the little Ben, it's exciting to watch as the bigger Ben matures (slowly), and grows into his own person with his own quirky personality to match. Ben is a fun little dude, everyone should have a brother like Ben.
While visiting the fam in AZ last month I got my brother and sister-in-law to go out for a quick photo sesh... Unfortunately it ended up being really quick. Like 15 minutes quick. No biggie though as I'm sure there will be other times and even though we only had about 10 minutes of good light before the sun started to set, we still managed to got a few decent shots. (Mind you, Leah could pose in a dumpster with a cardboard bag over her head and still look hot.) Aaand, um, Jamie has a nice shirt.
